Adds that it is tough out there with the dew but everyone worked hard and it is showing. Mentions that he takes his fielding very seriously and always tries to improve on that. After losing 4 wickets for below 100, Mark Chapman and Mitchell Hay batted brilliantly and revived the New Zealand innings. When they were batting, 250 looked possible. However, Fernando in the 37th over managed to get Chapman and Michael Bracewell and from then on, the lower order crumbled too.
A really good performance with the ball by Sri Lanka! They really made the Kiwis work hard for their runs and also managed to take timely wickets. It was the spinners who did a good job at the start.
