Electing to bat, Dhawan and Rohit got their side off to a flier. Dhawan departed and Kohli soon followed, but Rohit found an able ally in Rayudu and the two mixed caution with aggression perfectly. Rohit went on to cross 150, while Rayudu scored a fine century of his own. Dhoni, Jadeja and Jadhav added some vital, quick runs down the order and ensured India got to 377.
