Led by Jemimah Rodrigues, Delhi once again showcased their consistency but will be chasing a first-ever WPL trophy when they meet RCB led by Smriti Mandhana at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on February 5.




Chasing 169, DC raced to victory in just 15.4 overs after Shafali Verma (31 off 21) and Lizelle Lee (43 off 24) laid the platform with an explosive 89-run opening stand. Laura Wolvaardt (32*) and Rodrigues (41) then guided the chase despite Georgia Wareham’s brief double strike.

Earlier, Beth Mooney’s unbeaten 62 had lifted Gujarat Giants to 168/7, but Chinelle Henry (3/35) and Nandini Sharma (2/44) ensured Delhi stayed in control.
