Fortnite Winterfest 2025 Cabin: How to access the lodge, free skins, gift rewards, and locations explained

Fortnite Winterfest 2025 is now live, bringing back one of the most popular holiday features in the game: the Winterfest Cabin. As part of the annual festive celebration, Epic Games is once again offering players free cosmetic rewards simply for logging in and unwrapping daily presents. Alongside this, winter-themed loot and landmark locations have also returned across multiple modes.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Winterfest Cabin, how to find it, and what rewards you can unlock this year.

How long will Winterfest Cabin be live?

The Winterfest Cabin became accessible on December 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM ET, following the Winterfest update. The cabin will remain available until January 5, 2026, giving players ample time to collect all available rewards.



If the cabin does not appear immediately, restarting the game usually resolves the issue.

How to find the Winterfest Cabin in Fortnite?

Unlike map-based POIs, the Winterfest Cabin is accessed directly from the game menu. To enter the lodge:

• Launch Fortnite
• Click on the Snowflake icon in the main menu
• Select Visit the Lodge

Once inside, players can interact with the fireplace area to unwrap gifts and track their progress.

Daily presents and free Winterfest rewards

Fortnite Winterfest 2025 features 16 total presents, which can be opened once every 24 hours. These rewards include two free skins and several cosmetic items such as pickaxes, emotes, wraps, and a glider.

• Glacial Dummy (Skin)
• Cheeks (Skin)
• Winterfest Bow (Back Bling)
• Festive Gwinny (Back Bling)
• Wrapped Axe and Festive Bat (Pickaxes)

• Multiple emotes, a contrail, weapon wrap, and a Jam Track

Players can open presents in any order, but milestone rewards unlock based on the total number of gifts opened.

Crackshot’s Cabin and winter loot locations

In addition to the menu-based lodge, Crackshot’s Cabin has returned as a physical location on the map. On the Chapter 7 Battle Royale island, it is located near Sunset Falls, positioned north of Lethal Labs and south of Clawsy Lodge.



The cabin is a high-value landing spot, offering:

• Multiple loot chests
• Presents items that drop random weapons and healing
• Lt. Winter NPC, who provides seasonal interactions

The cabin also appears in Fortnite OG Season 7, located north of Frosty Flights and west of Polar Peak.

• Icy Feet effect
