Grand Theft Auto VI enthusiasts discovered a cryptic website recently,
visitgloriana.com, which takes users directly to Rockstar Games' official GTA 6 website. Although the domain is not officially connected with the studio, its name and actions have fueled speculation regarding an added in-game location named Gloriana. With earlier clues already leaving fans believing that the game has an expansive world to it, this new discovery fueled further waves of speculation among the fan community.
Fan discovery of 'visit Gloriana' fuels setting speculation
Domain visitgloriana.com was registered on 18th May, 2025 and gained the notice of the GTA community when discovered to be redirecting visitors to Rockstar's official GTA 6 trailer page. In the absence of public ownership, tracing it to a direct connection with Rockstar or Take-Two Interactive, the redirect nature, coupled with the site's timing, quickly turned into a point of discussion among gamers online.
This is not the first time this has happened. An identical website, visitleonida.com, also points to Rockstar's domain name, and
"Leonida" is already known to be the Florida-named state in which most of GTA 6 takes place. Now, with
"Gloriana" showing up on license plates in trailers and other fan-jotted clues, rumor is growing that Rockstar is hinting at a second in-game state.
Will Gloriana expand GTA 6’s playable map?
If Gloriana is a fictional state, or rather state-like, perhaps derived from Georgia, GTA 6 might be the first game in the series to cover two large American regions. This would align with rumors from the past indicating an even larger map than Grand Theft Auto V or Red Dead Redemption 2. Having multiple states incorporated would greatly expand gameplay options, ranging from diverse biomes and missions to trans-border storylines.
Even so, there's still no official word. Some users have suggested that the Gloriana domain might be fan-created, as it was registered privately and there is no verifiable Rockstar branding. Nevertheless, the redirection itself has been sufficient to ignite community speculation and social media hype.
In any case, if visitgloriana.com is either an elaborate fan hoax or even more sinisterly a brilliant bit of viral marketing by Rockstar, it has added an interesting new layer to the growing hype surrounding GTA 6. Until Rockstar makes clear whether or not Gloriana exists in the game, fans will just keep interpreting each trailer image and web hint for clues.
