Marvel Rivals fans are in for a huge treat as Season 3 is about to make a grand entry in the game. This season is going to follow the two-month span format, where the mid-season refresh update is due in the second month.
With the arrival of Season 3, a huge array of skins are going to surface into the game, from the Symbiote series to the Phoenix Force skins, and many more. However, if you are a college student, you can grab some skins for absolutely free.
College students can get free skins in Marvel Rivals
In the recently released episode of the Dev Division, Vol. 07, the creative director of the game Guangyun Chen and other members of the development team shared insights about Season 3 in Marvel Rivals. They also announced a new feature in the game where players can
mix and match their skins with exclusive MVP emotes.
However, one of the most exciting announcements of this video has to be an awesome opportunity for the college students to grab some free skins in the game.
After the beginning of Season 3, students who have their official email id given by their colleges or universities will have to register that same id with NetEase Games. And that is it, as after registering, the eligible players will grant themselves with 10 free trial skins as well as MVP animations in the game.
The developers are yet to go into detail about which 10 skins are going to be given away as free rewards to the college students. Also it looks like these costumes will be part of a rotational policy in each season, so they aren’t probably going to be permanent.
Whoever is thinking of availing this opportunity needs to keep in mind that this offer is only applicable to students residing in the US and UK. However, the developers have assured that players from more regions will become eligible to claim this offer later on.
They also informed that those email ids might not be recognized eligible for this offer, despite fulfilling every criteria. In that situation, players are advised to contact NetEase Games Support and their email ids will be verified instantly. This was all from the new college student offer in Marvel Rivals, and more information will be revealed once Season 3 will drop on July 11, 2025.
