With the Ragnarok event set to arrive in EA FC Mobile on July 10, leaks are starting to give fans an early look into what could be one of the most legendary events of the season.
The latest major reveal comes from well-known leaker @madridistaa, who shared a leaked image, reportedly from the in-game background of the event’s Mighty Winter phase. The image features three footballing greats, namely Pavel Nedved, David Ginola, and Dennis Bergkamp, all of whom are existing Icons in FC Mobile.
Their appearance strongly hints that each of them will receive featured cards in the event, possibly with upgraded OVRs and exclusive PlayStyles.
EA Sports officially teases first three Ragnarok Mighty Winter Icon cards; leaks hinted at multiple Icon variants
Adding to the hype, EA Sports has officially teased the first three Mighty Winter Icon cards for Ragnarok via an official X post. They are an 111 OVR Right Back (Brazil), an 111 OVR Central Attacking Midfielder (England,) and an 111 OVR Left Winger (England.)
Here’s what could be the expected items as per the given hints:
- 111 OVR Brazilian RB – Speculation points to either Cafu or Carlos Alberto Torres, two legendary defenders with elite status in both real-world and EA FC (formerly FIFA) Ultimate Team history.
- 111 OVR English CAM – Fans believe this might be none other than Sir Bobby Charlton, a World Cup winner and Manchester United legend.
- 111 OVR English LW – Widely expected to be George Best, the Northern Irish magician and one of football’s most charismatic talents.
- While EA has yet to confirm these names officially, the positions and OVRs line up with these Icons’ past cards and real-world reputations. If accurate, this would mark the first wave of premium Ragnarok Icons to join the game.
As revealed in prior leaks, Ragnarok will likely feature two types of Mighty Winter icons, including the Mighty Winter Icon and Mighty Winter Premium Icon. This opens the door for multiple versions of the same legend, possibly with stat boosts, unique abilities, or exclusive artwork that ties into the Norse mythology theme.
The Ragnarok event officially goes live on Wednesday, July 10, with a YouTube preview on July 8 at 19:00 UTC. While the full event structure remains unconfirmed, the inclusion of players like Ginola, Bergkamp, and Nedved in visual assets suggests they’ll be front and center in the first phase.
If leaks hold true as they often do with @madridistaa’s strong track record, then FC Mobile players are in for a truly iconic experience.
