The original Resident Evil: Code Veronica took place three months after the events of 1998's Resident Evil 2 and concurrently with 1999's Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The story follows Claire Redfield and her brother Chris Redfield as they try to survive a viral outbreak at a remote prison island in the Southern Ocean and a research facility in Antarctica. In the reveal trailer, Claire Redfield visits the apartment of her brother Chris Redfield. The visuals are very reminiscent of modern RE Engine titles such as Resident Evil Requiem, and towards the end of the trailer, Hunk can be seen having an encounter with Claire.
