How to Get Nickit in Pokemon GO

Nickit will be available in Pokemon GO starting March 19, 2025, through multiple in-game methods. Trainers can find Nickit through wild spawns, egg hatches, and event-based research rewards.

1. Wild Encounters

During the Deep Depths event, Nickit will appear as a rare wild spawn. Trainers may need to explore different locations to encounter it.

2. 7 KM Egg Hatches

Nickit will be available from 7 km eggs obtained during the Deep Depths event. Note: All eggs placed in incubators during the event will hatch at half distance.

3. Research Rewards

Trainers can complete Field and Timed Research tasks during the event for a chance to encounter Nickit.

Can You Get Shiny Nickit in Pokemon GO?

No, shiny Nickit will not be available at launch. Niantic has not yet announced when the shiny variant will be introduced, so trainers will have to wait for a future update to hunt for its alternate-colored form. When Shiny Nickit becomes available, it will have a shiny rate of 1-in-512. This is because Nickit will be regular spawn without any shiny boosts and it has been estimated that regular monsters have shiny odds similar to what we just predicted. The more you encounter this monster, the higher your odds of getting a shiny.
