Liverpool FC are owned by Fenway Sports Group (FSG), who have previously welcomed external investments, although they haven't officially announced any intention to sell. In September 2023, they sold a minority stake to Dynasty Equity, an American investment company.

We have always said that if there is an investment partner that is right for Liverpool, then we would pursue the opportunity to help ensure the club's long-term financial resiliency and future growth."
