CHENNAI: In an English
Premier League mid-table clash, Crystal Palace will start as the odds-on favourite against Burnley on Monday. Having won their last four Premier League games against Burnley by an aggregate score of 8-1, the odds - 13/10 - are heavily stacked in Palace’s favour.

Coach Roy Hodgson believes Palace’s chances of a top-10 Premier League finish will depend on how his players recover from their injuries. Wilfried Zaha and
Christian Benteke
remain big doubts for Monday’s
Selhurst Park
clash with Burnley but punters remain confident they will secure the win.
"I imagine they will be getting assessed up before the match. Benteke has a strain that has been scanned and diagnosed. With Zaha, we don’t really know the extent of the damage so until we get that scan on him we will just be hoping that we won’t be without the pair again," Hodgson said ahead of the game.
According to Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker’s new Opta stats, one can see that Burnley have won just one of their last 13 away league games against Crystal Palace. They have drawn six while they lost in the rest of the other six games. The only win by a 2-0 margin came in April 2017. No wonder then that Burnley are the 12/5 outsiders while the draw is a 2/1 chance.
Crystal Palace (9) and Burnley (10) have scored the fewest first half Premier League goals this season, although there’s been at least one goal scored in the first half of the last eight meetings between the sides, with Palace going in 1-0 ahead in each of the last four. Palace are 3/1 to be leading at halftime and win the match and are 15/2 to win both halves.
