NEW DELHI: Mohammed Kudus scored a second-half header as West Ham United vs Brighton Premier League game ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
The draw leaves West Ham in 14th place with 20 points from 17 games.
Brighton sits in ninth place with 25 points.
The first half at London Stadium was relatively uneventful.
Brighton took the lead in the 51st minute. Lukasz Fabianski's attempted clearance of Lewis Dunk's challenge landed at the feet of Mats Wieffer. The Dutch midfielder scored with his first touch.
West Ham equalized just seven minutes later. Jarrod Bowen's shot was saved by Bart Verbruggen, but Kudus was there to head in the rebound.
Both teams had excellent chances to win in the final minutes.
Kaoru Mitoma missed a seemingly simple tap-in for Brighton, hitting the post instead. The match ultimately finished in a hard-fought draw.
