(AGRC) carved out contrasting victories over their respective opponents to storm into the final of the First Division Football League, organized by the Nagpur District Football Association, at the Tirpude College ground, Civil Lines, here on Sunday.
A splendid brace by

enabled Green Flag record a comfortable 3-0 win against Rahul Academy in the first semi-final.
Azim netted a goal each in either half to guide his team to summit clash. The hard working forward opened the account in the 17th minute, which was the only goal in the first half.
After the change of ends, Azim again found the target in the 66th minute to complete his brace. Rahul Academy's fate was sealed when
Zaid Akhtar
added one more in the 84th minute.
Rahul Academy had an off day and failed to perform to the best of their ability. Mohd Shareef of Rahul Academy was cautioned for rough play.
The second semi was an exciting affair and AGRC had to stretch themselves fully to quell the spirited challenge from ten-man Nazim Academy 2-1.
All the three goals came in the second session of play. AGRC winger Mohd Asif broke the deadlock in the 50th minute but only five minutes later Nazim Academy levelled the scores 1-1 through Kaleem Ahmed.
AGRC continued their attack and succeeded when Sumeet Pundir slotted the ball home in the 87th minute.
Nazim Academy played most of the second half with only ten players after Shahid Ansari was sent off by referee following second yellow card in the 51st minute. AGRC's Naqeeb Akhtar was also booked in the 47th minute.
The final will be held on Monday afternoon at the same venue.
