Berlin E-Prix: Porsche’s Nico Muller records first Formula E win, moves ahead of Mitch Evans in title race
Porsche driver Nico Muller registered his first Formula E victory on the team’s home ground in Berlin, and made sure the special pink pig livery was worth the hard work. His win at the Berlin E-Prix Part 1 on Saturday made Porsche’s 75th anniversary celebrations even more special. He was joined on the podium by Nick Cassidy in second, who has been winning the Berlin E-Prix consecutively for the last three seasons. Season 11 champion Oliver Rowland gave them company in third position after starting from the same place on the grid.
Andretti’s Jake Dennis followed him in fifth, while Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans finished sixth. Cupra Kiro’s Josep Martí ranked seventh, followed by Barnard in eighth, Mahindra Racing’s Nyck de Vries in ninth, and Jaguar’s da Costa in tenth.
It was a home race for DS Penske driver Maximilian Gunther, who missed out on the points by finishing in 11th position. While Muller secured crucial points for Porsche, his team-mate Pascal Wehrlein had a difficult day despite starting on the front row. It was also his home race, but he ended up with no points.
The Round 8 race at the Berlin E-Prix is scheduled for Sunday at the same time. The drivers will get one more chance to practise in FP3 in the morning, followed by qualifying before noon and the race in the evening at 4:05 pm local time (7:35 pm IST).

Nico Muller claims first win on Porsche’s home ground
Nico Muller filled Antonio Felix da Costa’s seat at Porsche this season after da Costa moved to Jaguar TCS Racing. Muller made contact with DS Penske’s Taylor Barnard as the two battled for their first Formula E win at the challenging Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. The 34-year-old Swiss driver finally claimed victory, while Barnard ended up in 8th position. Not only this, Muller also moved up the Formula E Drivers’ Standings, taking third position with 75 points. He replaced Mitch Evans, pushing him to fourth position. He secured second place at the Miami E-Prix earlier this year, and his win in Berlin has further strengthened his position in the title race.Berlin E-Prix 2026 results
