Marion Grosjean, wife of former Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean, has been battling severe injuries following a devastating bike accident. The 43-year-old journalist and TV presenter sustained multiple broken ribs, brain trauma, and a collapsed lung. To make matters worse, she has also been struggling with pneumonia during her recovery.

Romain Grosjean’s Wife, Marion, Recovering from a Serious Bike Accident


Marion shared her condition with fans through Instagram, posting a photo from her hospital bed. In the image, she appeared with a swollen right eye, a deep cut on her forehead, and an oxygen mask. Her updates revealed that she has no recollection of the accident that left her with these injuries. Despite the physical toll, she remains grateful, acknowledging that her helmet played a crucial role in saving her life.

Marion’s ordeal came as a shock to many, especially considering the extent of her injuries. Over the weekend, she posted images of her bruises and cuts, further detailing her struggle. “Bike accident, but I can't tell you more... I have no memory of it,” she wrote. “Anyway... Thank you for your messages and support, it's lovely! Hope to get home as soon as possible. In the meantime, I have a husband that handles all 3 kids.”


Her resilience was evident in a follow-up post where she gave a more detailed account of her situation. “I showed you my head. Here's the rest, 5 days after the accident. I think I can make a cute road safety commercial! Honestly, the bike helmet saved my life. Still having drains but hope to get out of hospital soon.”

The outpouring of support from friends and well-wishers has been overwhelming, with many offering help to her family. Marion expressed her gratitude, saying, “At home, I have 3 little cuties waiting for me, taken care of by their super daddy. That's a good job! Thanks also to neighbours and friends from all sides, who help as much as possible, and send all the courage needed to get out of this hell! Yours truly...”

Romain Grosjean, who famously survived a fiery crash at the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix, has been a pillar of strength for his wife during this tough period. Since stepping away from F1, he transitioned to IndyCar and is now competing in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. While his racing career has seen shifts, his focus has been on his family, especially as Marion recovers.
