Rashid Khan maintained the tempo and fired a two-under 70 to keep Delhi A in lead, while staying ahead of the field in the individual category as well after the second round of the LG West Bengal Inter-State Golf Championship on Wednesday.
Riding on Rashid's 70 and Gagan Verma's 76, Delhi 'A' (289) extended their lead on top of the team standings with a three-shot lead over second placed Uttar Pradesh A, represented by Jasjeet Singh(73,73) and Rahul Bajaj(72,74).
The team of Abhinav Lohan(75,73) and Manav Das(76,71), playing for Haryana A, moved up to third place at further three shots behind.
Rashid also emerged as the leader in the individual standings with a tournament total of three-under 141, one clear of Saurabh Bahuguna who also returned a card of two-under 70.
Joint overnight leaders Siddharth Semwal and Moin Malak slipped to third spot after carding identical rounds of three-over 74.
Kanishk Madan had the best round of the day after the Delhi youngster finished with a round of three-under 69.
