Rajasthan Golf Club biennial elections on Nov 9

The Rajasthan Golf Club's biennial elections on November 9 feature candidates from the Shirish Sacheti and Yogendra Singh groups competing for key positions. Eleven candidates are vying for captain, secretary, treasurer, joint-secretary, and six executive committee seats, with preparations for a fair and free election in place.

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Golf Club (RGC) biennial elections are set to take place on November 9. Election officers advocate AK Gupta and Sandeep Mathur said that all preparations are in place to conduct a free and fair elections. Once again, candidates from Shirish Sacheti group and Yogendra Singh camp will be up against each other for different posts.
Eleven candidates from both the groups are trying their luck. The incumbent captain Sacheti has once again thrown his hat into the ring and will be competing with Singh for the post of captain while Samridh Sharma and Hemant Singh have filed their names for the post of secretary.
According to the club’s constitution, a person can serve twice as the captain.
Sanjeev Chaudhary and Girraj Agarwal are contesting for the post of treasurer, and Dr Ajayveer Khurana, Navratan Rathore, Yogesh Bansal, Yogendra Bansal and Dolly Shergill are contesting for the two posts of joint-secretary. Apart from this, many RGC members are also in the fray for six executive committee members.
