NEW DELHI: Saptak Talwar, a regular on the PGTI, is on the verge of securing his maiden Top-10 finish on the Asian Tour after shooting a 3-under 68 in the third round of the Mandiri Indonesia Open. With a total score of 9-under 204, Talwar is currently tied for 13th position.Other Indian golfers in the field include Veer Ahlawat (T-23) with a round of 69, Khalin Joshi (T-41) with a 70, SSP Chawrasia (T-48) after a 73, and Gaganjeet Bhullar (T-57) with a 70. Manav Shah, an Indian-American who has won on the PGA Tour Latin American, is also tied for 41st place.Aaron Wilkin of Australia, who set a course record with a stunning 10-under-par 61 in the first round, remains in contention for his first Asian Tour title. Wilkin carded a 67 in the third round, giving him a one-shot lead with a tournament total of 14-under."Chinese-Taipei's Ho Yu-Cheng (65), Malaysian Ervin Chang (66), England's Steve Lewton (66) and China's Sampson Zheng (72)" are all just one stroke behind the leader, setting the stage for an exciting final round.
