Punjab & Sind Bank pip Namdharis
Punjab and Sind Bank pipped Namdharis XI 3-2 in a closely-fought match of the ONGC-Nehru hockey tournament at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
Harpreet Singh scored to put Namdhari ahead in the 15minute but PSB raced to a 2-1 lead. The winners had the last laugh when Harbir Singh scored in the 45minute.
In another match, Central Railways and PNB XI played out a 2-2 draw earlier in the day.
