The Miami Open started with style before the matches even began. Some of the biggest names in tennis came together for the Players Party, and it quickly turned into a night fans could not stop talking about. From bold outfits to relaxed moments, players looked comfortable away from the court.
Aryna Sabalenka, Alexandra Eala,
Caroline Wozniacki, and Frances Tiafoe were among the biggest attractions. The event, hosted by entrepreneur David Grutman, gave players a chance to unwind before the competition. But while the party brought glamour, the tournament itself soon faced a serious problem due to bad weather.

Aryna Sabalenka arrived with her fiancé Georgios Frangulis and instantly grabbed attention.
She wore a silver mini dress paired with a tiger-print coat, along with a red pendant and matching accessories. Her look stood out and quickly became one of the highlights of the night.
Caroline Wozniacki kept things elegant. She attended the party with her husband, former NBA player David Lee. Her light-colored dress gave a calm and classy look, very different from Sabalenka’s bold style.
Frances Tiafoe also joined the celebrations, keeping his usual relaxed and confident vibe.
Young star Alexandra Eala was part of the star group as well, showing how the next generation is already mixing with top names at big events.
Away from the party, things have not been smooth for the tournament. Heavy and continuous rain has disrupted the schedule badly. On Day 2, 12 matches had to be canceled. Later, organizers confirmed that all matches scheduled for March 18 were called off.
In an official statement, the organizers said, “Session 3 & 4 on March 18 have been cancelled. All matches will be rescheduled. Impacted ticket holders will receive an email with next steps. Campus will remain open until 8.30 pm.”
To manage the situation, around 50 matches have now been pushed to Thursday. This includes a key clash between Joao Fonseca and Fabian Marozsan. The winner of that match will face World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz.
For now, fans are hoping things return to normal soon. Weather forecasts suggest clearer days ahead, which could help the tournament get back on track without further delays.
