Anthony Joshua shared his message on X, thanking fans for their support and revealing that bigger plans are already in motion. He wrote:
"A massive shoutout to the 33 million of you who tuned in to support me, Jake, and everyone on the undercard, and thank you to those who prayed for me during fight week 🙏🏾”
He continued, “Enjoy the festive break if you’re celebrating, and have a blessed week if you’re not. Big things coming in the New Year, so stay tuned.”

AJ knocked Paul down twice in the fifth round before closing the show early in the sixth. A right uppercut set the finish in motion, followed by a sharp combination that sent Paul to the canvas for the fourth time. Referee Christopher Young stopped the fight at 1:31 of the round in front of 19,600 fans at the Kaseya Center.
“It took a little bit longer than expected but the right hand finally found its destination,” Joshua said. “Jake Paul’s done really well tonight. I’m going to give him his props. He got up time and time again. I give Jake the respect for trying and trying. He came up against a real fighter tonight.”

The bout also delivered historic numbers. Netflix confirmed the fight averaged 33 million global viewers, ranking as the platform’s top program in 45 countries. Commercial venues added an estimated 600,000 viewers, making the event the highest-grossing boxing gate in Kaseya Center history. Despite criticism surrounding the matchup, the audience response was undeniable.
Paul later confirmed he suffered a broken jaw and reflected on his preparation. “Anthony’s a great fighter, but that’s what this sport’s about,” he said. “I think my jaw is broken by the way.”
For Joshua, the win reopened long-term possibilities. With Tyson Fury retired and heavyweight titles still in flux, attention has already shifted toward 2026.
