Endrick reveals wife Gabriely Miranda will decide his future after Lyon rise and Real Madrid struggles

The story around Endrick is getting more interesting with every game. The 19-year-old forward, who is currently on loan from Real Madrid to Lyon, is finally finding his rhythm. On Sunday, he scored again in Lyon’s 4-2 win over Rennes. That goal helped push Lyon into the Champions League spots in Ligue 1.

He said his next move will depend on “what God tells my wife to do.” It was simple, honest, and very different from the usual football answers.

Endrick has had a mixed time since joining Real Madrid in a £51 million move from Palmeiras in 2024. He struggled to get regular starts. Out of 40 appearances, he started only nine matches. Most of his time was spent coming off the bench. That is why the loan move to Lyon in January became important.

Now, things look very different. He has already scored eight goals and provided seven assists for Lyon. He looks more confident. He is playing freely. And most importantly, he is enjoying his football again.

After the Rennes match, he said, “It’s like I always say. If I’m meant to stay here, if I’m meant to return to Real Madrid, if I’m meant to go somewhere else, I’ll do what God tells me. What God tells my wife.”

He added, “I thank God for bringing me here, I’m very happy to be here. But that’s it, I’ll do what God tells me to do, what God puts in my wife’s head to do.”

His wife, Gabriely Miranda, has clearly been a strong support in his life. The couple got married in September 2024, less than a year after meeting. Recently, they also shared that they are expecting their first child.

Their relationship has also been talked about because of their “relationship contract.” Reports say it includes rules like avoiding bad habits, respecting each other, and even small things like always saying “I love you.” There were also some unusual rules, like not interacting with other women on social media.

For Endrick, though, the focus remains football. He said, “Coming to Lyon was one of my best choices… I came to a team that welcomed me.” He also believes this form could help him reach the World Cup, crediting Lyon for his growth.

Right now, his future is still open. But one thing is clear. His decisions will not just be about football. They will also come from faith, family, and trust.
