The world has seen quite a few greats from the world of
WWE cross over to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. From The Rock to
John Cena to
Dave Bautista, aka Batista, they took their in-ring prowess to the silver screen and wowed the audience with their acting talent. Batista was even named the best wrestler turned actor ever, and has shown his versatility in Hollywood over the years. Last year, for his movie The Killer Game, Batista shed a lot of weight, looking almost unrecognizable. And now, Dwayne Johnson has also done something similar for his latest movie- Mark Kerr's biopic, The Smashing Machine.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
While Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson maintained his wrestler's physique well into his acting career, his most recent cinematic venture saw a drastic change in his physique. For his upcoming movie, MMA and UFC fighter Mark Kerr's A24 biopic, The Smashing Machine, The Rock went from 300lbs to 240lbs. This new look has also gained him a new, and frankly, an adorable nickname - The Pebble. Very on brand for him, just on a smaller scale
Dave Bautista
While he was with the WWE and even during his role in Marvel for the Guardians of the Galaxy series, Dave Bautista was bulked up. When he started as Deacon in the wrestling world, he was about 325lbs. But he went from his usual 290lbs to 240lbs for his role in the 2024 movie, The Killer Game, shocking fans worldwide. He now tries to maintain a similar physique and is happy with how he looks.
John Cena
John Cena has kept his wrestler's physique for most of his acting career as well. The prominent and muscular physique from the ring was carried into his Hollywood roles like The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, and so on.
But mostly, he hasn't undergone much physical transformation, especially like The Rock or Batista in his Hollywood career.
Adam "Edge" Copeland
Adam Copeland made a transition from his bulked-up athletic build during his wrestling career to a more mature and toned physique when he joined the world of acting. Like Batista, he trimmed down - but unlike the former, Copeland's change was not as drastic. Though he still maintained a pretty powerful build in projects like Vikings and the Percy Jackson series, he is considerably slimmer than in his wrestling days.
Kevin Nash
Kevin Nash on how he stays JACKED
Kevin Nash is one of the fittest wrestling stars at his age, and even though he had issues with his health, he continued to train and hit the gym every day to keep in shape. Last year, he shared that he went from 307lbs to 285lbs and has managed to maintain an incredible physique even though he is currently 66 years of age. Fans very well remember Nash's look from the Magic Mike franchise, or playing The Russian in the movie, The Punisher back in 2004.
