Speaking about this experience to Sport.pl, she said, “You know, Rafa is my idol and basically the only person I watched play tennis as a child. He was also kind enough to talk to me several times during his career and give me tips.”

She kept things respectful but also private, adding that she prefers not to share details of those conversations.

Along with that, Swiatek has started working with Francisco Roig, who was part of Rafael Nadal’s coaching team for many years. This move has already caught attention in the tennis world, with players and experts seeing it as a strong step before the clay season.
