Kickboxer mother of four jailed as ex-partner Xavier Wills exposes her evil fake cancer story

Tara Michelle Enoka, a Perth kickboxer and mother of four, was jailed last week after faking cancer to steal more than $37,000. The 39-year-old created a GoFundMe page called Stand With Tara in 2021, telling the world she had breast and cervical cancer. She posted videos begging for help, saying she needed money to stay alive for her children. Friends, family, and strangers donated, but police later found out Enoka was never sick. She was even spotted fighting in a Bangkok kickboxing match while claiming to be on treatment. On Friday, September 6, 2025, she cried in Joondalup Magistrates Court as Magistrate Raelene Johnston sentenced her to 13 months in jail, with 11 months suspended.Her former partner, bodybuilding and fitness figure Xavier Wills, has now spoken out. Wills is the father of Enoka’s two youngest children. He revealed that he was tricked into helping her campaign after she claimed to be dying. Wills had already lost a partner of four years to cancer before meeting Enoka, and he said that trauma was used against him.He drove the Stand With Tara Michelle campaign, even getting retired American bodybuilder and four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler to share the story worldwide. Wills trained Enoka’s clients, handed her the money, and took care of their children while she claimed to be in hospital.In a YouTube exposé in 2024, Xavier Wills explained, “The manipulative measures that Tara went to were completely extreme. From fake treatment plans to telling me she was on chemo and blood transfusions, even making me pick up the children from the hospital.”After the sentencing, Xavier Wills posted on Instagram for his daughter Sophia’s fifth birthday. He wrote that his children remain his “reason to keep fighting,” but added, “Sadly your mother was jailed yesterday for faking cancer. Evil acts such as fraud, blackmail and corruption have torn our family apart.”Wills has since found happiness with his new partner, Syalie Magar, a primary school teacher. He called her a blessing for standing by him during the legal battle. But he also made it clear that he will not stop until justice is served.He said much of the donation money has never been accounted for, even though GoFundMe confirmed refunds were given under its Giving Guarantee in June 2024. Magistrate Johnston called her actions “despicable,” saying they damaged real fundraisers for people who truly suffer from cancer.
