Hosted across the Italian regions of Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Val di Fiemme, the Milano Cortina Paralympics 2026 promise a thrilling show. The mascot for the Games is Milo, a brown stoat symbolising agility and resilience. A new event, wheelchair curling mixed doubles, will also debut at this year’s Paralympics.

The Milano Cortina Winter Paralympics will feature six sports over ten days of intense competition. These include Para Alpine Skiing, Para Biathlon, Para Cross-Country Skiing, Para Ice Hockey, Para Snowboard, and Wheelchair Curling.

The Games will begin with the grand opening ceremony at the Verona Arena on March 6. The first medal events will take place on March 7 with Para Alpine Skiing Downhill and Para Biathlon Sprint races.
