The former LSU gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne has recently spoken about her first missed chance in Hollywood. The 23-year-old said she once auditioned for HBO’s popular show The White Lotus; however, she did not get the role. Even after this setback, Dunne stayed focused on acting. She has now secured an important role in the upcoming Baywatch reboot.

Dunne said the audition was for the fourth season of the show. She admitted she felt nervous at first. However, she also said her gymnastics experience helped her to stay calm and composed. Over time, she kept giving auditions. She worked on improving her acting skills. Her hard work has now paid off with a role in a big TV project.

She also opened up on how doing gymnastics in front of thousands of people sometimes felt easier than acting in a quiet room. Still, she tried her best and gave her best shot. She revealed that she treated the audition as a learning experience. She did not see it as a failure. Instead, it motivated her to keep trying in acting.

After that, Dunne attended more auditions, though most were online. She spent time learning scripts and understanding how the acting world works. Her efforts helped her land a role in the Fox reboot of Baywatch. She will play a junior lifeguard named Grace.

The show will also feature actors like Stephen Amell and Brooks Nader. Dunne has already shared several behind-the-scenes moments in photos on her social media account, including shots of her in the famous Baywatch red swimsuit.
