Olympic winner Ariarne Titmus shares a sweet date moment with boyfriend Mack Powell after retirement

Australian swimming star Ariarne Titmus is enjoying a new phase of life away from competition. After retiring from elite swimming, the Olympic champion has been spending more time with her loved ones. She recently shared a small but personal moment from a date with her boyfriend, Mack Powell. Since announcing their relationship in January 2025, Titmus has often posted glimpses of their time together on social media.

Titmus officially retired from competitive swimming in October after taking a long break following the Paris Olympics. With her career complete, she has embraced a more relaxed lifestyle. She often shares glimpses of her life on her social media.

The former swimmer recently shared a selfie from a date with Mack Powell on her now-deleted Instagram story. The photo showed the couple relaxing and spending their time together.

Earlier in November, Titmus and Powell made a public appearance together at Derby Day. She later shared a carousel of pictures from the event on Instagram.

In October 2025, Titmus officially announced her retirement from swimming. She shared an emotional message addressed to her younger self.

Reflecting on her long journey, she wrote, “Dear seven year old Ariarne, Today you retire from competitive swimming. 18 years you spent in the pool competing. 10 of those representing your country. You went to two Olympic Games and even better, you won!! The dreams you had.. they all came true. The friends you’ve made.. they’re for life. You achieved more than you ever thought you were capable of and you should be so proud,” Ariarne Titmus wrote.

She also spoke about why stepping away felt right at this stage of her life.

“You’ve just turned 25, and the time feels right to step away from swimming. The pursuit was unrelenting and you gave it every skerrick of yourself. You walk away knowing every stone was turned, no regrets. You’re fulfilled, content and happy. What’s ahead for you is exciting. New goals, more time with the people you love most and the chance to wholeheartedly put yourself, not your sport first,” she added.

Titmus ends her career with eight Olympic medals. She won four at the Tokyo 2020 Games and four more at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
