According to him, players should focus more on improving the game rather than blaming officials. He made it clear that if the Saudi Pro League wants to reach the level of Europe’s top competitions, players must avoid spreading negativity.

Ronaldo explained that he has noticed many players publicly questioning refereeing decisions and sharing their frustrations online. He tried to explain that this creates a bad image for the league. He suggested that players should show more professionalism and respect towards officials.

The tension was visible after the final whistle. Ronaldo and Demiral were involved in a heated argument on the field. Other players and staff had to step in to calm the situation. Despite this, Demiral continued his actions after the game. He picked up two of his Asian Champions League medals and wore them in front of the crowd, seemingly mocking Al-Nassr fans.

The Turkish defender later added fuel to the controversy through social media. He sarcastically suggested that it was the first time such a medal had been seen in Al-Nassr’s stadium. Ronaldo, however, responded in his own way. When faced with taunts from Al-Ahli supporters, he raised five fingers, reminding them of his five UEFA Champions League titles.
