Alex Pereira has spoken before about how hard his own journey was. Ahead of UFC 320, he explained that when he started training, there was no clear plan and no guidance.

“It could be easier for them,” Alex Pereira said. “When I was training, I had no plans. With me as their dad, we could make it happen.”

Both Alessandro Pereira and Lohan Pereira have attended multiple UFC events over the years. They have celebrated wins inside the cage with their father and watched him become a two-division UFC champion.
