Who is Pavol Vasko? Understanding the fighter involved in the Clash MMA ear-biting incident
Pavol Vasko is a Slovak heavyweight boxer and underground rapper who turned into a topic of conversation on an international scale following a shocking event on February 7, 2026, during the Clash MMA 15 event. As the stage name of Pali Hari, Vasko went further than even combat-sports outrage will see as he bit his opponent in the ear during a main event on live, in Brno, Czech Republic.
Although to their credit, Clash MMA has proven itself to be oriented in pushing the limits when it comes to entertainment and custom rule bouts, the incident immediately shed more light on the actions of fighters and the aspect of regulation within extreme forms of MMA events.
In its turn, it was followed by unparalleled anarchy. The fans and members of Mikulasek's team crowded the cage, throwing drinks and even chairs. Vasko had to escape the cage, run in the direction of the backstage area, where spectators and other fighters hit him before the security came to his aid. The videos of the escape went viral through social media, and the scandal gained immense publicity beyond MMA circles.
His fight history in the recent past is a model of controversy. Vasko was disqualified twice in back-to-back matches against Mikulasek in Clash MMA 14 and 15 due to a legal foul and biting. Whereas Clash MMA is allowing extreme body strikes like headbutts, stomps, and soccer kicks, biting is strictly forbidden in all matches, even in the so-called no-rules matches.
The ear-biting incident has brought the argument whether combat sports promotions can be taken too far in deregulating or not, and whether fighters such as Pavol Vasko should be given headline status at all.

The Clash MMA ear-biting incident and chaotic aftermath
The situation was controversial at the beginning of the first round of a headliner match between Vasko and Czechian fighter, Vaclav “Baba Jaga” Mikulasek. When Mikulasek fired a shot to take down Vasko, he bit his left ear, and it was bleeding literally. Immediately, the referee halted the fight and gave a disqualification.
Fighter background, record, and ongoing controversy
Vasko only fights under the banner of Clash MMA, an event that combines fighting with entertainment and the culture of influencers. Out of the cage, he boasts a parallel career as a rapper and producer under the alias of Pali Hari888.His fight history in the recent past is a model of controversy.
