Katia Lindor debuted her podcast, "The Un-a-Parent," in August 2022, focusing on the often-overlooked realities of parenthood. She described these aspects as the "unapparent truths of parenting”. She has featured a diverse range of guests on her podcast, including her husband, Francisco Lindor, Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010, Mariana Vicente, mental health professionals, and many others. For the benefit of her diverse audience, she includes English subtitles in addition to Spanish. She hopes to reach as many people as possible.
In her very first episode of the podcast, she explained : “I needed a creative, intellectual, stimulating outlet, and it stemmed from a desire to start conversations that I felt I might have needed back when I was pregnant and becoming a parent, and the first few months that were just so overwhelming.”
She further added, “And it didn’t seem like there was enough authentic conversation surrounding what parenthood is actually like.” She translated this feeling of being lost and overwhelmed into the creation of this podcast. Parents learn and evolve in their journey but the responsibility of being the perfect parent can be gnawing.Creating a safe space for parents to share their struggles, while also acknowledging the joys of parenthood, is vital for their well-being. She is also very dedicated to both her personal and professional life.
Katia Lindor’s Pregnancy Announcement
Katia Lindor gave birth to her first daughter Kalina on November 4, 2020 and her second daughter, Amapola was born in June 2023. The couple announced their third pregnancy on December 13, 2024. They posted a set of family pictures on Instagram with the caption: “All eyes on you, little one. Party of 5 coming soon. (Big Smile Emoji)”
Katia Lindor's pregnancy announcement was met with widespread congratulations. Notably, the MLBPA Trade Union expressed their well-wishes with a simple yet heartfelt message: "Congrats to the Lindor family! ❤️"
