In one Cactus League game, between the Milwaukee Brewers and the San Francisco Giants at the American Family Fields in Phoenix, Bader exploded at the fourth-inning pitch, and his line drive went flying at 113.6 mph. The ball flew first an estimated 408 feet, over the left-field fence, and hit a food truck nearby in the air.

The unfortunate target was the Cactus Bowls açaia bowl truck, operated by a local-based seller called Monica Godfrey. To complete all this in a twist that was too much like the myths on baseball, Godfrey had been asked to move her truck to that particular mark in left field right before the game.
