Soto recently reflected back on his Mamba Mentality and talked about his journey to making a huge name for himself in the league.

On Friday, SNY released an interview with Juan Soto, in which the Mets star talked about his level of discipline over the years, which has helped him achieve great success in the league. Sharing details into the same, Soto said:
“Working every year, working every year, every day. I'm coming to the cage. I start working on my eyes. And from nothing, you got it work like if you want to do it you have to work on it. And I think since I was a young guy coming up through the minor league system. I was a free swinger."

“I was swinging at everything it was trying to pull the ball in play. So my coaches told me to start taking pitches, start swinging more strikes and little by little. We were getting better than that and this is how we get all the way up here," Soto further added.
Apart from talking about his discipline, Juan Soto shared his take on Pete Alonso's $54 Million signing with the New York Mets. Soto can be seen launching praises for Alonso while opening up about excitement about sharing the locker room with him. Sharing details of his reaction, Soto said:
"I'm just so used to playing against him; it was like, ‘Wow! I have the potential to be on the same team’. For me, I couldn't wrap my mind around it at first. But then, when things kind of got serious in my contract talks, and I was granted Juan being back here, it was great."
"He's such a fantastic player. He's a phenomenal player. Where he'd have gone, he'd help them win. But, by golly, I'm so happy he's with us. Every time you play against him, he has a big hit, makes a big play, or does something special. It's so nice to have him on our side now," Alonso further added.
Nevertheless, Pete Alonso also shared his excitement about playing alongside Juan Soto, whose $765 million contract also attracted a jaw-dropping reaction from Brett Baty.
