The Houston Astros’ pitcher Justin Verlander and his wife, model Kate Upton have been married for several years now and also share a child, a daughter named Genevieve Upton Verlander. Back in 2014, several iCloud accounts of high profile celebrities were hacked and unfortunately, Justin Verlander and Kate Upton became victims of it. At that time, they were already dating for over a year. The hacker had accessed Justin and Kate’s iCloud accounts and leaked their intimate pictures in August 2014 and caused an uproar on social media.



On 2nd September, before a match, Justin, who used to play for the Detroit Tigers back then, opened up about the iCloud leak to the reporter and as per USA Today, said, "I'm not going to comment on my personal life. I never have and I never plan on it. I keep my personal life personal. The focus for me is on the Detroit Tigers.”

Justin and his wife, Kate Upton, were not the only victims of the infamous 2014 iCloud leak. Many high profile celebrities became victims of the leak including Kaley Cuoco, Kirsten Dunst, Jill Scott and more.

It seems like though the incident must have made both Justin and Kate extremely uncomfortable, their relationship stayed strong. They continued to be spotted together and in May of 2016, Kate Upton was spotted with a massive engagement ring at the Met Gala red carpet.



A year later, in 2017, Kate Upton opened up to People about their wedding plans and said, "We are getting married, but it's really hard. Everyone's always like, invite whoever you want, do whatever you want, don't feel bad about it, but you feel bad!"

In the same interview with People, she had also opened up about the couple’s honeymoon plans and spoke about how they are in a dilemma of choosing the perfect honeymoon destination since she wants to go on a safari but Justin did not.

A few months later, in November 2017, Justin married his long time girlfriend, Kate, in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Italy, days after he won the World Series.



A year later, in 2018, the beautiful couple announced their pregnancy and welcomed their daughter, Genevieve Upton Verlander, in the same year.

The couple has remained deeply in love even today as they continue to raise their daughter together. With the 2025 MLB season beginning soon, fans are excited to spot Kate again cheering on her husband.
