NEW DELHI: The Indian contingent secured six gold medals at the Taiwan Open international athletics championship on Sunday, achieving remarkable double podium finishes in the women's 800m final and long jump competition.Vithya Ramraj, Rohit Yadav, Pooja, Krishan Kumar and Annu Rani claimed gold medals in their respective events. Vithya secured gold in women's 400m hurdles with 56.53s, her third-best time this year, gaining valuable ranking points for the World Championships.The Tamil Nadu athlete specialises in 400 metres hurdles, 400 metres and 4×400 metres relay. Her previous performances include 56.04s at the Federation Cup final and 56.46s at the Asian Championship final.
