recipient Grand Master
Pradipta Kumar Roy
from
West Bengal
, Roy has been recently appointed as the chairman of the welfare commission of India Taekwondo.
Grand Master Roy who heads ‘'Roy's
Taekwondo
Academy’ along with international Master
Ruma Roy Chowdhury
is also imparting online taekwondo education for doctors and several medical students.
“Medium intensity exercise such as taekwondo training is very effective to develop immunity power along with mental composure. To spread its benefit and positive message of taekwondo, we have introduced online taekwondo education from October 1 where more than 7,000 students, including medical students and doctors are taking part and this will continue till the situation will become normal,” Roy said.
Roy's Taekwondo Academy have been giving taekwondo training to medical students and junior doctors of NRS medical college and hospital for the last few years and have been encouraging doctors to take up taekwondo training to cope up with the stress that doctors face daily.
