The scheduled four-day event was reduced to a two-day affair by the organisers to avoid the incoming super typhoon Maria.

Divya Dhayal became the only individual medal winner for the country when she clinched the silver medal in the women’s compound category on the last day of the competition.

Divya, who qualified sixth, got past Hong Kong’s Pui Shum Kit 145-135 in the first round and Philippines’ Jennifer Chan 141-135 before clashing with her toughest rival Korean third seed Yun Soon Song in the quarterfinals which she eventually won via shoot-off.

In the semis, she had it relatively easy against Thailand’s ThaKanayee Maneesombatkul winning 144-141, but faltered at the final hurdle against local star Ting-Ting Wu 141-144.
