Celebrities across movies, music industry, and sports have been divided over endorsement for their favorite candidates in the Presidential Election on November 5. Several NBA stars have promoted awareness of the civic duty of the right to vote while some stars openly endorsed candidates of their choice. Amid that, Carmelo Anthony's ex, La La Anthony has recently praised rapper, Joseph Antonio Cartagena, better known as, Fat Joe for endorsing Kamala Harris.

Television star and actress, La La Anthony has extended her support for Democratic Party’s Kamala Harris after rapper Fat Joe’s endorsement speech for Harris. "What a speech @fatjoe," she wrote on her Instagram story adding, "PROUD."
La La has been actively supporting Harris. Previously, the actress addressed her fans urging them to vote for Harris in an Instagram post. "Thank you for hearing me out. I know politics can be overwhelming and confusing sometimes but it’s about understanding what’s important to you and your family. The election is 2 days away! VOTING IS YOUR POWER!!! Make your voices heard! VOTE! ���� Todos mis Latinos tenemos que votar!!!! VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!! @kamalaharris," La La wrote in the caption.
As for Fat Joe, he has been a devout supporter of Harris. In a recent chat with The Hollywood Reporter, the popular rapper shared his experience of interviewing Harris. “I know her, so I wasn’t,” he said when asked if he was intimidated. “I think the first or second time I ever hung out with Madam Vice President I was a little nervous, but I see her all the time now. I’m not taking it for granted. I know she’s the vice president, but I’ve seen her a bunch of times to the point where the butterflies wore off. Now I see her, and I go, ‘hey, Ms. Vice President. Heeey, owww.’ We chop it up. It’s a little bit different,” he added.
Harris contested against the Republican Party’s candidate and former United States President Donald Trump. While several NBA stars including LeBron James have extended their support for Harris, former NBA star Carmelo Anthony’s political affiliation is not known.
