Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers game summary
Aaron Gordon was the standout performer for the Denver Nuggets, leading the team with 26 points, and 11 rebounds. Michael Porter Jr., Peyton Watson, and Russell Westbrook each contributed 12 points. Westbrook had a rough shooting night, though he did dish out a team-high nine assists.
Jalen Pickett provided a solid boost off the bench with 14 points in 19 minutes.
For the Los Angeles Lakers,
Luka Doncic had a strong performance, leading the team with 31 points and making four three-pointers on nine attempts. He also contributed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists. However, he did have six turnovers, which is something he’ll want to clean up moving forward.
Austin Reaves also played well, scoring 22 points. He hit two of his seven three-point attempts and was perfect from the free-throw line. Along with his scoring, he provided eight assists and five rebounds.
