Now the kid is cancer-free and Anthony sent a personalized message wishing him a speedy recovery.


Anthony stated, “I was turned up. Slick told me earlier today before the game. So I was like yeah, let’s go.” He further added, “That’s God’s gift, man. So let’s do it, Luka.” The emotional connection from Anthony’s previous interaction with the young fan was clearly visible in the clip. During the previous meeting, Anthony signed the cancer placard that the kid was holding. The Timberwolves’ star even signed the young kid’s t-shirt.
