Alexander alone scored 35 points, which added to the humongous lead for the Oklahoma City Thunder over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7. The Thunder won the match with a final score of 125-93 over the Nuggets. With a score of 35, Alexander joins the league of Kevin Durant as the only player to have scored that number in a Game 7.
Having established himself as the one of the best players in the NBA, the player now prepares to face off the Minnesota Timberwolves in the finals. However, the one thing that has hyped the player even more is that he will be facing his cousin, someone he literally shares blood with, in the finals. In a recent interview, after the Thunder secured their spot at the finals, Alexander was asked about how he felt knowing that the player would be facing his cousin in the next match for the trophy, to which, SGA replied, “Yeah it will be very fun, It is hard to even explain. If you know how close we are. He really is like my second brother. He is been through every stage of life with me. Picking up a basketball to going to prep school to making in the NBA. We have gone through every situation together…But I am trying to take his head off for sure. Completely.”
