Rich Paul Reflects On His Relationship With The NBA Legend LeBron James

During an appearance on the widely watched podcast 7 PM In Brooklyn in October, Chris Paul spoke about his association with the NBA star LeBron James. The 44-year-old spoke about the kind of relationship he shares with James. Paul recounted how his relationship evolved into a deep bond with James over the years. He said-

"Our relationship has evolved a ton from someone who gave me an opportunity just in general to someone who believed that I actually could represent them. I didn't start representing them until his ninth year in the league."


He even reflected on how LeBron James has always stood by him like a brother. He said-

"He's supported me in everything I do right, and think about it, I've gone against the grain in certain things, but the support is there because he knows the entrepreneur at heart."

He further mentioned-

"With LJ, we brothers you know like we don't have the same moms but we might as well at this point. Sometimes you can get in that situation and people like try to tell you like or try to show you that you should be thankful for the opportunity that was given by short-changing you for your added value, for your expertise."

Paul believes that it was his transparent bond with James that helped him cement a stronger relationship beyond the business. He has been associated with LeBron James for almost two decades.
