Shannon Sharpe urges Los Angeles Lakers’ Luka Doncic to quit “hookah” and focus on six-pack abs and fitness

Luka Doncic has been an excellent player with the Los Angeles Lakers, and has had a key role with the team. But, a controversial remark by Shannon Sharpe has brought forward another question — on fitness. Sharpe jokingly suggested Doncic to cut down on hookah and aim for six pack abs.

Speaking on the “Nightcap” podcast that aired on Saturday, hosts Shannon Sharpe, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Joe Johnson shared advice for Luka Doncic, where they suggested that he remain in shape. Joking about the same, Sharpe reacted and said Doncic should aim for six pack abs, and he should cut down on hookah sessions. Sharpe said, “How about this — six-pack, not a case, That's all I'm saying. Get you a nice little six-pack; leave, don't do the case”.


Further, he said, “The hookah, man. don't get the big thing of hookah, get a little bit of hookah, you know what I'm saying? Don't get the one that, like, six to eight people can get on it.”

Luka Doncic’s weight and fitness have been a concern ever since he was traded to Lakers from Mavericks. His recent transformation has been a successful journey. He was able to lose weight when he was captured in a changed look, making fans surprised by his new look.

Meanwhile, NBA legend Magic Johnson reacted to the entire situation, where he said, “We shouldn’t have to tell you to be in shape, you should have been about that, especially when you’re a superstar, So this is gonna be an important year for the Lakers, important offseason for the Lakers.”

He added, “Luka, it's great what you did in Dallas, but the difference is, in Los Angeles, we expect championships, And we expect our superstars to lead us to a championship. LeBron has already done that. Now we want Luka to do the same thing."

While Luka Doncic has had a busy time, especially in February this year, when he was traded to Los Angeles Lakers from the Dallas Mavericks.
