During an interview, LeBron James opened up on his absence from the team during one of the most demanding times. The NBA star even spoke about his left foot injury and the much-needed victory to end their jinxed time. The 39-year-old said-

“No different from any other here,”


He further explained-

“It’s an everyday thing. Something that has been lingering for the past few years. But I was able to do a lot of great things for not only that. I got kneed in the Atlanta game at the end of regulation by AD so that’s now back to 100%,”

During his first comeback match against the Grizzlies, LeBron James managed to contribute his best to Anthony Davis's electrifying performance. The NBA legend secured 18 points along with 8 assists and 8 rebounds. The six-point victory against the Grizzlies helped the Lakers come out of their losing streak during the current NBA season.

However, the talented athlete had addressed his retirement rumors during an interview with ESPN early this year. LeBron James said-

"Obviously, it's the mind; wherever my mind is, is how the rest of my body is going to go, whatever the case may be, I don't know. I'm not going to play that much longer, to be completely honest,"

He further mentioned-

"One year, two years, whatever the case may be. I said the other night that I'm not playing until the wheels fall off. I'm not. I'm not going to be that guy. I'm not going to be the guy disrespecting the game because I just want to be out on the floor."
