Brittany Renner’s marriage ends in 52 days, years after having a son with P.J. Washington
Recently, Brittany Renner appeared on REAL 92.3 LA where she spoke about her failed marriage to Kevin Gates.
Brittany Renner said, “We got married April 6 and divorced May 28. But there is a 90-day waiting period in Islam where it’s basically—you have 90 days to see if you’re pregnant, then he would be responsible. And then also in those 90 days it’s for reconciliation.”
The former Basketball Wives’ star added, “What I also will add is that I followed my heart. And that’s more than anyone can say in this world. I don’t think anybody gets married to not stay married. So, I think my biggest thing for me is just a nice 90 day reset…” and fans are now brutally trolling her.
A fan took to X and wrote, “She has the worst luck. She had a baby with a basketball star for money, and he took the baby cause she can’t afford to raise the baby. She got married because she wanted to be taken care of and now it’s over after 52 days? Damn 😭😭”
Another fan wrote, “I’m not surprised.
The world already knew it wasn’t gone last. They both dumb af fr and playing with folks religion”, while a third fan joked, “Yall thought this was gonna last LMAOOO.”
Another fan wrote, “I think it is time for people to stop giving Brittany Renner all this attention all she done is made a fool PJ Washington and herself. 🤦♂️”, while a fifth fan noted, “nobody was shocked”.
Brittany Renner and the Dallas Mavericks’ P.J. Washington dated back in 2020 and the two welcomed a son, Paul Jermaine Washington III, in 2021.
However, their relationship did not last too long and P.J. Washington got married in 2023 to Alisah Chanel after dating her for a few years.
