“Once a CoverGirl, always a CoverGirl” - Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry walks down memory lane reviewing her beauty evolution
Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, recently walked down memory lane, reviewing her beauty evolution. In a candid interview with Byrdie, the American businesswoman looked back at her modelling days. These looks donned by Ayesha were way ahead of the ongoing Euphoria makeup days. The looks featured in the clip ranged from her CoverGirl shoots to the ones featured in the shoot for her own brand, Sweet July Skin. Ayesha strictly believed, “Once a CoverGirl, always a CoverGirl.”
Ayesha moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Weddington High School in order to pursue her career in modeling and acting. She started appearing in television shows and later earned the opportunity to work for big names like CoverGirl. She became the spokesperson for the outlet in 2017.
Ayesha then went on to review another iconic look of hers from the year 2020. She donned a blonde wig. “That blonde wig. 2020. You see the year. People were experimenting.” Ayesha justified her choice by adding, “Do what makes you happy. Try new things.” With an image featuring Ayesha donning braids on the display, she added, “You want box braids. Get box braids. If you want to wear a blonde wig, wear a blonde wig.” This was not the end. The next image was of her shooting for her own brand, Sweet July Skin. “I remember shooting for this cover. It just felt so ethereal and fun and whimsical. Isn’t this Euphoria makeup before Euphoria? Jewels on the baby hairs.” Ayesha’s beauty evolution is quite interesting. She has tried almost all the looks and pulled off each look effortlessly.
