On Sunday night, Ja Morant found himself on the receiving end of a highlight-reel dunk. During the Memphis Grizzlies’ matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jarrett Allen threw down a powerful and-one slam over Morant after giving the Cavaliers a 118-109 lead late in the fourth quarter. Instead of reacting with frustration, Morant did something unexpected— he embraced the moment. Flashing a big smile, he wrapped his arms around Allen in a playful hug. He candidly acknowledged the incredible dunk in a way that immediately went viral.

The Cavaliers went on to secure a 129-123 victory, improving their record to an NBA-best 47-10. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies, now 37-20, are tied with the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference standings. Despite the tough loss, Morant’s good-natured reaction showed his love for the game and sportsmanship.

Morant added 21 points, a stunning 10 assists, and 2 rebounds for the Memphis Grizzlies at Rocket Arena, Cleveland. The home team's star Jarrett Allen posted 13 points, 1 assist and 10 rebounds in the game.
