Wunmi Mosaku and
Hailee Steinfeld are having a unique moment in Hollywood where art, timing, and real life all come together in a very personal way. Both actresses are celebrating their professional success during the awards season while quietly getting ready to become mothers.
They have a natural bond because they have both been in the public eye while carrying a child. When Mosaku announced her pregnancy at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, just weeks after Steinfeld said she was having her first child, the connection became clearer.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Wunmi Mosaku opened up about the guidance she offered her younger costar Hailee Steinfeld, who is expecting her first baby with husband Josh Allen.
Drawing from her own experience as a mother, Mosaku kept her advice simple and honest.
"I mean, my advice generally is be careful which advice you take, but I really wanted her to enjoy the moment," she shared. "It's hard. It's a lot on the body, and so like rest as much as you can and show up when where and when you can. But, enjoy it because you'll look back on this moment be like 'wow I did it with you inside me. I did it.'"
During a Jan. 29 media session, Josh Allen addressed how he is balancing preparation with the reality of becoming a first time dad alongside his wife, Hailee Steinfeld.
He acknowledged that while some planning helps, parenthood does not follow a strict script.
"I'm very much looking forward to that with my wife of becoming a dad," he said. "It's something that I will take with great pride, and we're going to have to figure out things on the go just like anything else."
Then came the line that framed the entire moment."This is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, is being a dad," Allen added. "I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I'm looking forward to this one."
That clarity reflects stability off the field. Steinfeld has spoken openly about the peace she has found in their relationship, calling Allen her anchor. As the couple prepares to welcome their child, the quarterback is stepping into a season defined less by stats and more by presence. For Allen, the next chapter is not about proving anything. It is about showing up.
