“Excessive and unnecessary”: Judge criticizes Keeta Vaccaro’s excessive spending habits in Tyreek Hill divorce case

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill’s divorce proceedings have taken another significant inside a Florida courtroom. While the case already carried serious weight due to allegations made during the marriage by his ex-wife, Keeta Vaccaro, recent financial disclosures have added a new layer of scrutiny. A judge reviewing temporary support arrangements focused closely on how funds provided by Hill were used by Vaccaro.

During the hearing, it was revealed that Hill had already transferred a total of $714,000 to Vaccaro before the court ordered monthly support of $5,500. Court records show Hill covered $500,000 in legal fees, provided a $100,000 car allowance, issued a separate $100,000 lump sum, and paid $17,500 in temporary child support.

Court questions financial priorities after luxury purchase using settlement funds

The judge’s concern centered on how the car allowance was used, as Vaccaro purchased a Bentley valued at $196,000, spending nearly double the amount set aside for a vehicle. The judge did not mince words on the overspending, saying, “The court finds the additional $96,000 to purchase a vehicle was excessive and unnecessary” (per US Weekly).



Further review of the records showed that Vaccaro also used part of the funds to pay off a pre-owned Tesla. While Hill did not place formal restrictions on how the money could be spent, the judge still weighed in on her superfluous financial choices. He continued, “Albeit the money was provided to the wife by [Tyreek] without conditions, the wife’s use of the funds is indicative of her financial priorities.”

Another revelation from the hearing was that Vaccaro only had $19,217 remaining from the money given by Hill. More about her excessive spending habits came to light, including $3,950 each month on cosmetics, nonprescription medications, and toiletries. She also listed $4,000 in monthly clothing expenses and $3,309 for grooming.

The court further criticized her for this, calling it “exorbitant and well above the maintenance required to support her” during the divorce period. Vaccaro filed for divorce from Hill in April last year. Months later, in September, she accused Hill of domestic violence during their marriage, an allegation that intensified public interest in the case.
